Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
i like Korea cinema, and this one let me say original Korea'n horror movie. I didn't very liked other 4 Horror Tales movies well except Forbidden Floor was not bad, but still this one i liked most of all 4 Films.Action goes on boarding-school in the beginning of school-year. arriving new girl's in new school where are very strictly rules and punishment's are sometimes violent.School collective seems a little strange. and the main warden got very cold face, girls starts finding out that before them there was a fire and now there is a ghost haunting the school. Its a ghost movie, but its made very nicely-realistic. its short and attention-grabbing.Maybe it's a little familiar with Whispering Coridorss. I recommend it to Korean horror fans. Check out my lists http://www.imdb.com/user/ur23690923/? ref_=nv_usr_prof_0
i found this movie to be absolutely intense, dark and interesting, don't listen to the bad reviews, its just that not many have seen it and rated it,it deserves a 7.5,creepy althroughout and ending is just superb, nail biting stuff.if you like Asian horror, and if you can take unrelentingly intense film,go for it you may keep in mind this is not typical gore fest or will be relying on shock value alone, this movie does so much more, the psychological part of the film is more gruesome, horror in this flick works on this level rather take a cheap way out like what the Hollywood is doing, and calling films like saw/hostel/midnight's mid train a horror film when what you are catered is pure gore and twisted sick bloody fest, although that has its own value as well this movie rather takes the subtler road.watch it alone,at night, lights off
What "D-Day" ("My Bloody Roommates") had in the first and second act, sadly fell apart in the final act. This Korean ghost story had a decent, if not slightly over-the-top premise, as well as some good characters to follow. Most of the story was psychological-based, which is perfectly fine, but the payoff was disappointing.Granted, the disappointment may not have been in how the story was written, but how those climactic scenes were shot. During that all important segment, the lighting crew must have been told to go on vacation. The scenes were so extremely dark, I could not follow the characters and could not see what was occurring.Because of this mistreatment of the material at story's end, I can only give the movie five stars.
We follow the story of a bunch of girls who attend a private school with strict discipline. The school is haunted by a fire that took place 3 years ago and that killed all the students. Strange patches drip blood from the ceiling and some girls are witness to scary phantomatic apparitions of former students. The tension builds up as the girls get closer to their final exam. Will history repeat itself? The movie is fairly low budget. The actors are fine, but nothing extraordinary and the whole thing drips of horror movie clichés. There is no comic relief and character development is weak. As there is no main character, it's a bit hard to get emotionally involved. Overall, it's unoriginal, but still creepy.
