It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

This is one of the most amazing animated Cyberpunk films I've seen since Akira and Cyber City.This production is truly up there with works such as Final Fantasy The Spirits within.The level of art and realism in this movie is incredible.If your a fan of Cyberpunk your going to love this film.What annoyed me about the film and in fact the only thing that annoyed me was the artists vision for Deunan.Essentially the issue is that for someone who is wearing armored body jacket gear, I found myself questioning 'what is the point'. The issue is that she's wearing armor but her front section has her tits basically hanging in the breeze with a lousy tank top that says, 'hey shoot here, I'm an open target'. What's the point of wearing armor of you essentially expose yourself to having your tits blown off? So very poor gear for Deunan but everything else in the film is superb. I'm getting the sex sells vibe but seriously, Appleseed doesn't need this clichéd marketing nonsense. It would sell just as well without it and the story would actually benefit by taking into consideration some serious thought about the characters.Appleseed deserves outfits for it's characters that make sense, not just stupid nonsense that some weird persons wet dream is made of.Nothing to give away here, go watch the movie if your a fan of the series you will not be disappointed except for the obvious technical error that stands out like a raw prawn.An instant Cyberpunk classic.

Watched #AppleseedAlpha....Basically it's an anime sci-fi action movie.... A guy thing. The animation is so brilliant that sometimes it looks like a filmed movie. The action sequences are good. The characters are very cool with cyborgs, drones and robots. The chief characters are a two humans and three more cyborgs. The weapons are pretty cool and so are the villains....Done saying all that there ain't much after that.... There ain't any sub plot. The main plot I a bit predictable and something we are used to. Over that the second part is full of serous goofs. The kind of goofs we see in sub standard action movies where good guys survive everything,gets new vehicles out of nowhere etc....#watchable....

www.tgchan.pl ( I have seen the first "Appleseed" but it was years ago and I don't remember it at all ) Action from the very first minutes of the movie, accompanied with outstanding visuals! I must be very lucky, because it is my third post-apocalyptic movie in a pan of a month lol Cyborgs, robots, mechs, wanzers, whatever, this movie got lots of them and they all look great! The story seems to be interesting after 30min of watching, but the real thing is the eye candy animation. 55minutes have passed and the only thing I really disliked so far is the music... it really doesn't fit to the movie...And I have finished watching it... Overall it is a decent thing to watch, great visuals, OK story, a little mismatched music choice but it all keeps you entertained for an hour and half. As I have mentioned before, I have seen the first part of the Appleseed and even though I remember only bits of it, I think the first one was much better. Oh! one more thing, there is a little extra after credits so make sure you don't miss that! tgchan's rating: 6/10
