Harry has an evil twin brother, who looks like Matt Lucas, who wants Harry's pet hamster to finish off his weird hamster town type thing.He hires Simon Bird, and a Richard Keil lookalike to apprehend the hamster, but Harry thinks that the hamster only has a week to live, so he takes him on a trip of a lifetime, to Blackpole.....Well come on, what did you expect?It's called The Harry Hill Movie, it was released the week before Christmas, and it's aimed at the little ones, so it's hardly going for the art-house crowd.As you would expect, it's bonkers, confused, and way over the top, but Harry has that presence that you can almost forgive him for doing this, and give praise for him at least trying to give us some sort of plot and narrative.It's also a musical if you want to put the knife in a little deeper, and features a mutant hamster, shell people, and a strange reference to The House Of Wax.Out of all the TV characters and series that get big screen incarnations, this is far from the worst one out there, because it just doesn't even try to make any sense of it's own narrative.Great for a Saturday morning when you've woke up unexpectedly early and have nothing to do.

Likes : There isn't must i can say i like about this film, it has the slap stick Benny hill comical humor, i did find the chicken's with the gun pretty but but that about all i kind of found funny about this film, i love comedy film but im not a big fan of harry hill i find his joke & comedy over the top stupid. This film does have some decent acting pretty good singing from some, great costume design for the character & make up is good but sadly unless your a harry hill fan this is a disappointing film to watch. Dislikes : As I've said before if your not a harry hill fan this film is seriously going to be a bad film for you to watch, the joke's are over the top & unfunny, some of he singing is bad, this is one film that should never of been made, its just seem like a quick buck one off movie to make some money, i think this should of stay on TV because there are just something that should be made in to a film.

As someone who was in hysterics watching Harry Hill live I decided to watch this movie as there was a relatively funny trailer. I came with absolutely no illusions this was going to be in the running for the Oscars, but I did at least expect it to be funny.The first 5 or 10 minutes were OK - I thought the chicken scene was what Harry Hill is best at. Then came the Simon Bird character. As I have never been a fan of the inbetweeners, I didn't know what to expect from this comedy "genius". I didn't expect much and wasn't disappoint - this guy simply cannot do comedy! The film ran out of steam 10 minutes in, the remainder of the time was like watching a university comedy troupe, without talent or comedic timing.Quite frankly the film was a TV skit stretched out. Far too long - even with its short run time! I cannot express how deeply disappointing this film was. The only way I can think people actually enjoyed this is if the watched the opening 10 mins then had to leave.I would be happy to watch Harry live, but on film - you FAILED BIG TIME!

Although I really like Harry Hill I wasn't exactly excited at the prospect of a Harry Hill film. I went to see it at the cinema because my son was lucky enough to work in the art department on this film. I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be better than I expected.The story was potty but this is Harry Hill and if you don't expect stupidity then you shouldn't have chosen to watch it. Johnny Vegas does a great job of voicing Abu the hamster and Julie Walters is very funny as Nan. The whole supporting cast was very good.I thought the jokes were great. Quite often they were terrible jokes but they still made me laugh. Again, if you don't like silly jokes then you really shouldn't be watching a Harry Hill movie.The look of the film was incredible. They caught a real 70s vibe with really vibrant colours. The puppets were great and the costumes of the shell people were really well done.I really liked it. If you like the Harry Hill, The Mighty Boosh and daft kids TV shows like Rent-a-Ghost then you'll like it too.
