Wonderful character development!

A different way of telling a story

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

A production by Clive Barker's Midnight Picture Show.Directed by Hal Masonberg.This started off so well and grabbed my interest from the first second but after about half an hour it just turned into another zombie flick.How many times can you watch a zombie invasion movie? The acting is average. The plot has been done (ironically) to death and the production is okay. But what could have been something amazing and original became boring. Plenty of blood, gore and scares but sadly a lack of anything original or entertaining. The ending was unusual and unconvincing.6/10

(23%) A disappointingly plotted, and overall average at best horror flick with that has a twilight zone type premise (only half as good) that could maybe have gone down some pretty interesting places, yet goes nowhere with a real dire, groan inducing ending that concludes very little to nothing. The characters are by and large bland, the performances are the stuff of TV movies, and you just get the feeling you've seen it all before. The plot itself is too far fetched for what is, more or less, a tame zombie flick, but it must be said that there are worse horror films out there, yet there are so many that are much better.

This ain't a bad movie of its kind and better than some reviews here suggest. A zombie/night of the living dead type of film. However it is ruined for me by watching it on the Asia cable channel AXN who at regular intervals break in with mindless adverts for other programs. The likes of HBO, Star Movies, Cinemax etc allow subscribers to see movies uninterrupted but AXN just spoil it for the viewer, and I turned it off after less than an hour as I could not enjoy the picture with all the commercial breaks. Also have noticed that the reception quality here in Asia of AXN is poor compared to the reception of the other cable TV movie channels.5/10

There was a lot missing in this movie. A lot of things go unexplained and that really bothered me. It had a good started, but never capitalized on what it started. The big mystery of why the kids start killing people seems to hinge on a page in a diary that they find. However, it doesn't fully explain why all of this happened in the first place or why kids under the age of nine. It also never explains what triggered them to just wake up after 10 years.I started to wonder what happened. Why would a writer do that and then I found the web site www.spreadingtheplague.com It is a site run by the writer/director and it explains a lot. If you watched the movie and wondered what was up with all the unanswered question you should check out the site.
