The acting in this movie is really good.

Being someone who had literally watch hundreds of gay related titles. This one had been one of the few that left an impression on me. Most gay movies tend to be very shallow or terribly made with poor acting. Or extremely great acting and high quality production but depressing. This movie is extremely well made. The actors and actress played their role perfectly and convincingly. It is a moving movie with a wonderful message. The focus isn't really on the two men but on an issues of gays in military. I was afraid to watch this at first because I knew it was going to be sad but surprisingly I am extremely satisfied with the ending. I definitely recommend this movie to everyone.

It may be the time of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' but a whole lot in the Armed Services haven't got the message. They're still on a seek and eliminate mission as we see in Burning Blue.Trent Ford and Morgan Spector are a pair of Top Gun type pilots who are also married and quite secretly gay. Assigned to the same unit they fall for each other. There seems to be so many in the Navy that are gay one wonders if they all disappeared tomorrow how that might effect the security of the nation.But eliminate them is the mission of Michael Sirow of NCIS and don't kid yourself if you're a fan of the television series. NCIS in the bad old days did indeed conduct 'investigations' to find gays in the military. Sirow takes a pair of plane crashes among the pilots and turns it into a witch hunt.Ford and Spector have a lot to lose, they're both from traditional military families, their fathers are admirals. It's beyond the pale and impossible that these All American fighter jocks are queer.Burning Blue is a fine drama about days that are hopefully behind us. The mere fact that the military apparently cooperated in the making of this film indicates as much. A fine ensemble cast plays this one from the heart. Definitely try and see this one.

What a bad movie. Makes no sense for a movie written in 2013 or ever. Has no relevance and just makes zero sense. Save your money, I wish I did. What did they do that was against the law? It was so hard to follow. Couldn't tell if a day went by, a month, a year or many years. This was just the worst written, worst movie I ever saw. About a topic that could have been so relevant this one made no sense. I'm even struggling her to write enough bad things to be able to post this review. I was so interested in the topic but it was done so poorly. Can't say it was predictable since it just made I sense. Shame on the writers and I can only imagine the actors had nothing else better to do. Even if this movie represented the 1950's it just makes no sense.

I watched this move at private screening in Chelsea NYC, I was disappointed not bc it was a bad film, because there is great film there it's just didn't run the way I thought it personally should. Firstly I don't understand the first 40 minute focus on the friendship, the first 10 mins made this clear to the audience, the relationship between Daniel and Matthew then suffered from being underdeveloped. The main focus of the movie is this relationship, should have gave it it's due attention. Then the key supporting characters such as the skipper, I'm assuming from his scene was the alpha male in the group, we're left sitting like lame ducks in the end, no opinion and no input to the story. They should have been the first to criticize and react to it, they didn't do that which gave there characters no purpose and left the leads with no redemption. I truly hope that this film sees the screen, it's a topic that needs to see the light of day, an issue that needs to be addressed. Beautifully shot, the intrepid never looked better, and some sterling performances, especially the leads. Deserves to be seen
