Novella is an aspiring young actress who wants to advance and get a more important role in her career, so she goes to an audience but there are other girl who aim at the same purpose. Troubles begin when she discover some king of skin disease at her foot and arm and this will aggravate her path to success. Lucky for her that she has a friend who is along her when she needs but this may not be enough to solve all her problems. I like this sort of a different idea put in a movie and although at first it seems like it's going to be a bad movie, with the good sound and camera work makes it to be better along with the acting witch is decent and overall it is a watchable film in comparison with others with a bizarre story or a boring one, this one keeps it plain and simple. An unpopular horror with unknown actors who deserves more attention because I never seen a more unique movie like this one.

Though the some horror parts are difficult to tolerate sometimes (eating own hand and leg), the movie started very well. Story went very smoothly with enjoyable ups and downs. Some factual errors are very prominent and too much bloodiness made me bit sick. Still due to picturization and storyline, and overall acting movie is well enjoyable. Thriller part is well documented. But last ten minutes it became a menace of its own. Within ten minutes we experienced four deaths. An absurd picturization of eating own heart after taken out from living body put me off. Acting wise Candice (Ali Francis) is best, followed by Novella (Meggie Maddock); both of them did their best. He who doesn't like bad ending of a movie shouldn't watch this.

The first full feature by director Jimmy Weber and it's one that will stick to your mind. the opening sequence is great, the editing and the graphics, it immediately got my attention. Slowly you get into the story and the first minutes nothing really is going on. Except for Novella (Meggie Maddock) who got some trouble with her thumb. It's bleeding. After going through so many auditions she's fed up and starts sucking her thumb and trouble comes in.I can understand that some horror geeks won't going to like this flick because it do takes a while before the nastiness comes in. It's really going into the character of Novella and seeing how she's going on with her nasty habits of biting. Being used and abused (porn industry) she's becoming sick doesn't admit it and falls in love with her schrink. Here and there you do get rewarded with gore. Overall I found it okay but to say it's one for the gorehounds no therefore I can't agree. This one just goes deep into the mind of Novella. Loved this horror flick can't say enough great things about this movie from the original story line to how the movie pulls you in to it's graphic story.Characters were very believable especially the best friend she was awesome.Main actress was great at portraying herself as a deeply troubled woman dealing with many problems from her very sad life. Started out slow but kept my attention.I have seen many horror movies but not like this one it had a some what eerie quality to it.I would highly recommend watching Eat I am recommending it to all my friends and family...Great job would love to see more movies that haven't been overly done like this one.So tired of watching the same types over and over.
