I love this movie so much
Memorable, crazy movie
hyped garbage
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
The movie was not good. The story is good. But the way they presented in the movie was very boring and bad. The fight scenes in the movie was mass and entertaining. Songs also not so good in the movie, only the theme song and its bgm was only good. Comedy in the movie was also somewhat good. The villain acting was very bad in the movie.
Bairavaa is an action entertainer that talks about a daring debt collector who ends up fighting a hard-core educational field criminal. It is expected to be an unapologetic mass movie that can only be enjoyed and not analyzed. Characters: Vijay: Yet another energetic performances. He is the man of the massesKeerthy Suresh: As Vijay's love interest. A decent performance by the cute girl, where she played a village girl from Tirunelveli. Jagapathi Babu and Daniel Balaji: Good performance from bothSathish: Couldn't not manage to evoke laughter like his previous ventures. Music: Santhosh Narayanan is known for some experimented music, but in Bairavaa the songs reminds you of some other music directors. Nillayo reminds you of a typical D.Imman song, although the song is a masterpiece. The Varlaam Vaa bgm gives you goosebumps in the fight scenes, especially the interval block, but the bgm gets repetitive. Papa papa was unnecessary in the movie, slows down the pace of the movie. Other technicians: Cinematography: Sukumar has shown Vijay in dynamic angles and it has elevated his mass aspects adequately.Editing: Nice Stunts: Pakka mass!! Hats off to Anl Arasu Overall, Bairavaa is an enjoyable action entertainer, but it becomes boring at some places. First half was pakka, except from the lengthy flashback. Second half revolved around a "cat and mouse" game between Vijay and Jagapathi Babu. There were some good scenes. The movie had a good story and message, but the poor screenplay let down the movie a bitVerdict: Above average
This movie was made for the fans. The teaser and trailer made that clear. So for the people complaining I ask what did you expect? This is a masala movie. The hero will kick ass and win the girl's heart in the end and along the way will fight, dance, sing, say one liners and even try his hand at comedy. For the information of those high IQ critics who are rubbishing this movie, there is a market out there for movies like this. There are still people living in towns and villages who want just to be entertained and do not want to see their own realistic lives shown to them. You might have noticed vijay's movies don't normally get a clean release, his enemies out number his friends and inspite of this and movies like sura he still is one of if not the star that comes to your mind when it comes to kollywood commercial cinema. Bairava needs a lot of editing. If they had done that properly I think it would have been as entertaining as some of his recent hits.
The whole story revolves around Vijay, his screen presence is the biggest plus. The action sequences, emotional performances, romantic part and being funny he carries the entire movie on his shoulders. The only sideline would be his voice modulation at some places might seem artificial.Keerthi Suresh as the lead pair has done her role to the perfection. She doesn't have much screen presence but has utilized her time span well. As a homely Nelai girl she excels in look as well as acting. The comedy track by Rajender and Sathish were peppered here and there. But one might feel few scenes should have been trimmed. Jagapathi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah and Daniel Balaji have put their experience into action, which worked well.Though cast has done well, the screenplay falls flat. The first half was engaging with good scenes here and there to keep the audience engaged. But the second half falls flat. The one bold step by the director was to keep Vijay away from the much predictable flashback, which is a rarity in Vijay's film. If you go to a masala entertainer you should be ready to accept logical loop holes. The same happens here, especially in the second half the movie becomes predictable and finishes with less excitement. The savior would be the interval block fight scene, pre climax fight scene and few others. Vijay has energized the action scenes and his fans will go crazy. The cricket fight bring in Whistles for sure.
