Excellent, Without a doubt!!
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
The children of the former Hydra head, Baron Von Stucker, have taken charge of the terrorist organization. Under the lead of his vicious daughter, Viper, Hydra has seized a deadly virus and threatens the destruction of America. The covert agency SHIELD brings Fury out of retirement to fight the terrorists. Nick Fury: Agent of Shield is a laughably bad 1998 TV Movie starring David Hasselhoff as Fury and even tho he kinda looks cool his acting says otherwise. Most of the movie is also choppy with people screaming infront of a camera or just giant heads floating around in monitors and just a freaking weird plot that is even loosely based on the character. Stick with Sam Jackson's Fury. (0/10)
what were they thinking? this film was quickly lost in the sea of forgetfulness -- there is a very, very good reason for that. The special effect are terrible, the acting is very bad. the story is extremely dull. there are real action scenes. but the girls are cute. the women in this are pretty hot and look very sexy in those skin-tight outfits, and that is the only good thing i can say about this movie - 1 out of 10 stars
Personally, i think that if you are a fan of Stan lee in anyway you will enjoy this movie..granted its a made for TV movie from 98' so its kinda old, but i think they did really well with what they had.I don't understand how people can think it was funny or stupid to cast David Hasselhoff, i honestly think he was the best man for the job. much better than Samuel Jackson in the up coming avengers movies. If you enjoyed Iron man or the incredible hulk at all, then this would be a good movie to watch to get a little background info on the nick fury character.
I don't know about the rest of you but I thought for all it was a little campy and stuff it was fun to watch. Hasselhoff ha a reputation that precedes him in most his works but i thought he definitely looked the part. He was just about the exact spitting image of Fury in the comics and i've yet to see a marvel movie or series that truly shows an actor looking exactly like the character in the comics. To be fair the film was made for TV and couldn't have benefited from a great budget but they still included the hellicarier, hydra and James bond like gadgets that made the character fun in the comics in the first place. I think it's unfair to compare it up against any of the big budget Spider-mans or x-mens because clearly this was intended as a pilot for a series and didn't have a great polish to it but why are comic fans getting so serious these days what happened to opening a comic book and just getting sucked into the fun and adventure.Compared to what they're doing now in the ultimates with fury I think this ain't as bad as everyone says it is. What a cheap shot to draw a character to resemble a famous actor just in the hopes of roping them into maybe making a big budget live action movie. it makes me sick . The magic I remember as a kid of high adventures written and drawn by Stan lee and co seems lost forever. All it's about now is making cash by having 10 issue arcs that go nowhere but instead tarnish our beloved characters. I'm all for change and progression in comics but why change fury to be an African American simply for racial equality. What happened to creating new multi racial characters it all seems a bit pointless. But sorry I'm straying from my initial point. If you haven't seen it, try and give it a look. If you like it great if not then thats a shame because personally I'd rather watch this than a Samuel L Jackson version.
