I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

In Los Angeles, the clumsy Andy Conners (Josh Meyers) works at the Fearless Records selecting new talents. Andy is in love and engaged to Lauren Baker (Krysten Ritter) for one year but he is unable to satisfy Lauren in bed. Further, he has never told Lauren that he loves her. Andy tells his problem to his best friend Layne Wilson (Eugene Byrd) and they research how to satisfy Lauren with an orgasm. Meanwhile Lauren is promoted in her company but she needs to be transferred to Chicago. When her colleague Daniel Meltzer (Ian Somerhalder) comes to Los Angeles to convince Lauren to move to Chicago, they discover that they had been friends in the childhoods. Andy misunderstands the relationship between Daniel and Lauren and believes that she is cheating on him. Will Andy lose Lauren to Daniel?"How to Make Love to a Woman" is a silly romantic comedy about lack of communication between two lovers. The predictable story entertains but Josh Meyers is not funny enough for his role. Nevertheless Krysten Ritter is hot and sexy and makes the film work reasonably. First of all, I have to admit that I watched the movie for Ian Somerholder. But after watching the movie, I felt like I have to warn the lucky people who didn't watch this yet. The plot is interesting in itself, before it was made this movie actually. For starters, Krysten Ritter is really boring. And when I say boring, I mean it. You never see the emotions. All the ups and downs the character goes through, nothing. Second, Josh Meyers. Again, no acting at all. The only good acting, in my opinion comes from Eugene Byrd and Ian Somerholder, but to admit I am biased about Somerholder, and Byrd was not extraordinary, he was just the stereotype (at least at the beginning) And since I wasted a good amount of time watching this movie and watched Ian Somerholder for about 5 min. I am very very disappointed.

I just watched this movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly-- that is not to say that the movie in itself was particularly good, though.There seemed to be quite a few contradictions throughout the movie; why the main character got angry with his fiancé at the restaurant in the end is beyond me. After having some crazy idea of getting her back, he just goes in and yells at her.Also, what's with everyone's mixed reviews on who he's dating? His friend Nora didn't like the woman, but that was barely addressed. The black guy didn't find marriage to be his style, and everyone throughout the entire movie was telling the main character that he'd changed for the woman.This movie could have been a hell of a lot better given better acting and cinematography and a slight tweak in story. The name of the movie makes it seem like it would be completely vulgar and comedic, but in reality it's just a romantic comedy. It's not exactly a horrible movie, it's just a very shallow one. I watched it at 6 AM and enjoyed it.P.S: I did like the incorporation of the different bands throughout the movie-- I thought they were presented in an artistic way, almost. Although, I have to say that my favorite part of the movie was probably the intro. It was really cool.

First of all, no comedy can be successful without an absolutely hilarious cast! Every single character leaves a huge imprint on the movie, there's no way to pick a "favorite" character... they are all so funny. Comedic timing and one line hitters in this movie leave you in stitches! It's dirty humor, but you can't help but nod your head in agreement with the "issues" these characters face, laughing all the while. The movie is categorized as a "Romantic Comedy" but don't write it off as a chick flick! I saw this movie in a college screening and EVERYONE, "dudes" included, thought this movie was too funny to be a 'strait to DVD.'The one line hitters could easily make this film a future (dare I say) cult classic!
