Very Cool!!!
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
This movie is shown to happen at WWII. It is basically a love triangle of two men falling in love for the same woman. The story line was a disaster they could have shown a normal love triangle but no they had to take it back to World War 2. The action sequences were really bad did not feel like a war. From beginning to end this movie was boring and senseless. Now let's talk about the songs in this movie all a complete disaster not one of them was catchy. The romance shown in this movie was all happening so fast it's just like some random scenes were been put into this movie to fill the movie eventually. Kangana, Shahid and Saif did their part well but they could not save this movie cause of the story line and how is "bloody hell" a catch phrase. No I would not recommend this movie foe anyone. My Rating 0/10
This is a beautiful movie. Very well done and superb acting by Shahid Kapoor and Kangana. Great Story ..Just watch it. India needs to make more of these types of movies.I loved it. Its very entertaining.Kangana should get an award for her performance.
i am a fan of the actress of this movie who is the only lady who can challenge khans. definitely it is a far far better movie than raees. she again proved about her versatility of acting.she performed comedy, romantic, emotional, fighting, dance all and supposed to be won a award. the movie is a story of love triangle in a patriotic base. the dialogue ,"what is more valuable than your own life" and the answer really warm up your blood.it gives a hint of struggle of netaji for azad hind fuzz. draw backs: the movies is so lengthy; 167 min which could be shortened. many scenes not linked with script could be cut. script is weak many places. there is a break of flow of movies. director tries to do his best with a weak script. climax is good, but could be better.... but if you can watch a filmy presentation of a crime petrol story in raees than definitely it is a better movie, just watch.
Well, I am a Software engineer, who runs his kitchen, quite handsomely, by selling Science, Maths and at times, Powerpoint presentations. And I am doing it for years; a decade to be precise. While being so indulged in science & process, I do know that there is another side of the brain which functions for art, and it isn't the same. A discussion on history does bring a breath of fresh air for me. It breaks the monotony of science in my life. This film just did it precisely. I don't hold the Ph.D. degree in Arts or Pre - independence history, but every time that INA anthem played in the movie, I had goosebumps. And for that, this movie was worth it. I am not sure, how accurate it was in depicting the era of 1940's - it is something for historians to dissect - but I will have to say, I did understand what its maker wanted to convey. It does talks about an era when a lame Indian, not an indulgent one, had two choices to make, to choose the path of non-violent Gandhi or the military of Bose. We know that eventually Gandhi won and we got a partitioned India. But hypothetically, let's just assume, as it paints in the film, the victory of Bose's INA - hadn't we got a different India than what we have today. It is quite a seducing thought for one weekend. I believe the maker deliberately wanted to leave his audience with this thought. And I will have to say; the maker has been quite successful in that. At least in my case. Once the movie got over, I did check on the internet on the history of that era. So in the end, yes, I did like the movie. As far as rating is concerned. I will hate to do that. I am a science student, not of art. I would hate to hear an explanation of quantum mechanics from an art student. And so, I assume would an art student protest my rating to the painting of Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. I already stated the side of the brain which works for art doesn't work for science. So please do not take my rating seriously. I will just say, it isn't Casablanca nor it is La La Land, but for someone with Indian origin, it does have a connect.
