Sorry, this movie sucks
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
The first must-see film of the year.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Where to start? Terrible script. Terrible acting. Completely wrong clothing for Jews and Greeks ) Philistines). I even saw a pair of trainers! The soldiers were milling around endlessly, some with pointed sticks and there was to be a battle!!! The extras must have been worn out with all that walking around. Was yhe actor who played David really the best out of 4,000 who auditioned? How did the Jews (Hebrew) and the Philistines (Greek) speak to each other? Did they all know English with British accents? This is not a serious film.
Any positive review in regards to this movie, is either part of the cast, or was paid to make a false review, its that simple.Costumes were made by a 8 year old with one eye.The mirror effects to make it look like their were more hired actors was off the charts bad, like you cannot believe your own eyes.Goliath was this tub of lard with a poor dental plan, as well as attitude. You know what, I could keep going on.. I'm done wasting another second........
I wish there was a negative number I could give this terrible movie. The whole Chey clan that put this trash out should be ashamed of themselves. The acting was like a grade school play, the cinematography was from a 1960's super8 camera, the script was no where to be found in the Bible. I had to fast forward to the end just to see what a catastrophe might be there. And it was. Then I had to run to my computer to write this review to hopefully prevent anyone else from watching this attempt to mock the Bible.
I don't know what was worse: the script, the acting, or the editing. The producers' intention was probably good, though. I'm glad many folks enjoyed this film but, with a better education in film appreciation, one can praise the Lord better.Omg, I wanted to be brief but my review has to be at least 5 lines long or it won't be posted, so I'll add that I don't mean to antagonize anyone but no keep silent would be a sin of omission.
