Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

This is one of the movies which shows take of certain girls who are into relationship. I am sure that most of the girls will show hatred towards movie but who knows if they are real. I being a guy enjoyed a movie sooooo……………………..… much. Even watching it many times, you would not get bored.Every guy character has laid down their own specialty, Nishant (Liquid's) dialogue in general and regarding union of boys against girls, Long dialogue acted by Kartik (Rajat) and general acting by Raayo (Vikrant).

Pyaar ka Punchnama yearns to be different from the usual fare, and it manages to succeed to an extent as it showcases the everyday life of young guys living on their own without any help from their parents. The film focuses on the life of three men who are desperately trying to get into a relationship. Despite not having any well-known actors, the relatively inexperienced cast does a wonderful job with all the roles being memorable. During the second half of the movie, there is an almost five-minute long monologue magnificently delivered on the various problems that occur during relationships. The first half breezes along at a good pace and raises the expectation of the movie. However, the second half features some needless melodrama that dampens the overall impact of the movie. A major flaw in Pyaar ka Punchnama is the misogynistic tone. All of the women in the movie are portrayed as villains and are completely one-dimensional. The lack of empathy and courtesy shown by the female characters seems unrealistic.Apart from certain shortfalls, Pyaar ka Punchnama delivers an entertaining movie that is different from the mindless Masala movies that are offered by Bollywood. The acting, direction and dialogs are the highlights of this must-watch movie.

pyar ka panchnama, a movie presenting the real story of this generation. some people may believe that this is an attack on women but let me tell you, even girls agree on this being a true story. it is a comedy filled with reality. or you may say reality with a light hearted comedy. its not exactly romantic but yeah it is a love based movie. luv ranjan's work is really nice. he made this movie closely related to reality. actors were fine too. kartik as rajjo is also good but did a phenomenal job in his 5 minutes single dialogue. script is the power of this story. this is like the most legendary movie ever made in Indian cinema presenting the general situations at a given time. must watch....

"Pyar ka punchnama" starring lesser known first time actors , directed by (?who) Luv Ranjan is a thoroughly enjoyable movie for guys & strictly avoidable for gals. Movie is misogynistic, dogmatic & strongly opinionated with overt generalization of male-female love relationship. Like the title conveys, the writers have attempted at a "post-mortem" of relationships a male & female can have viz., romantic, friendly & casual. But they have done it in a one-sided manner blatantly obscuring the views of the opposite party.Whatever it is , movie is fun while it lasts. While watching the movie one can't but silently laugh at oneself for almost all of us must gone through one incident or other depicted in this movie. Though movie is replete with conversations on & on, the dialogs are a peach with lots of meaning & enjoyable at the same time. Though the screenplay drags a bit in the second half & one wishes for the movie to end soon, on the whole it is a funny ride.Movie is shot in a casual manner & director managed to keep it as authentic as possible. Everyone can identify with the characters for those are the ones we come across day in & day out in our lives. That director has managed to achieve this is in itself a great achievement & this makes the viewers to get to like the characters straight away. And one gets into the movie right away for the prelude sets the tone for things to come.Divyendu Sharma as the demure Liquid alias Nishant is first rate in the role of a guy who had never had any relationships in the past falling for the manipulative & exploitative Charu (played well by Ishita Sharma) who is already in a steady long distance relationship. Though he gets annoyingly tame towards the end his character is the most lovable of the three male lead characters.Next in the honor list is Nushrat Bharucha as the nagging Neha who makes the life of Rajat (Karthick Tiwari who is first class in the role of the innocent boyfriend) miserable . She has acted so well that after a point of time one gets so annoyed with the character that one wishes someone would slap her & make her mouth to shut. If any character can bring about so much of negative emotions on the viewers it's this one , kudos to Nushrat for that.Others in the cast Raayo Bhakhirta & Sonali Sehgal have also done well.Cinematography by Sudhir K Choudary is slick & glossy. He captured the interiors of the habitat of the lead characters well with suitable lighting."Ban Gaya Kutta" written & performed by Luv Ranjan is a rocking number though the lyrics are chauvinistic. On the whole , "Pyar ka punchnama" is strictly for all those guys who has been in , is in & will be in a relationship . Gals please do skip it or watch it at your own risk.Bottomline : All single guys out there , reason why you should stay single..!
