Just what I expected
Great Film overall
The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Spoiler: if you watch this, you will regret it! This is obviously a tax-write-off vehicle. The whole plot: nosferatu-rip-off follows stupid cadre picking them off one-by-one by dry-humping them. There is NOTHING else. I waited and waited, and it was garbage. The nosferatu creeps around in broad daylight seemingly unnoticed at close range by all. He has some maniacal but unexplained laugh post-feeding. The "reporters" seem not to realize they just could go home, and seem not to notice they are dying member-by-member. Each capture-kill is essentially the same (bite jugular, drink, dry hump, maniac giggle, bite wrist...repeat). Bikes chasing motorcycle scene is completely nonsensical and unnecessary to the "plot". Acting: 'stilted' is generous Dialogue: grade 7 drama project? Cinematography: ok but add enough dim and anything could be goodIf you must watch for some reason, just put it in 8x and save 1.5hrs of your time.
I liked this movie.Europe knows about "Drakula" (spelling is that way in the movie), and the TV is full of murder-by-vamp news. What catches our journalist's attention is a call for help from a young woman who's been bitten and now needs blood. Furthermore, as she walks away with dinner-sheep in arms, she disappears! The prince (supposedly Vlad) is named Corvinus, and he is like the Nosferatu vampire, quirky, jerky and sometimes makes comical faces. His next-in-command is more human-like but just as deadly. The remainder of his group (coven?) appears to be female and active only near home. And all of them can simply disappear at will.I say give it a view with an eye toward mystery rather than horror because it's well done, the photography is magnificent and the actors capable. And please forgive my paragraph goof; IMDb makes correcting it a living hell.
The reason I love Dracula is because: there were parallels to draw between the military intervention in Syria between the Christmas story We went to war with Islam the implications for the civilian population and how is it all going to end? "I begin to wonder if we have learnt anything and how is it all going to end I think that in some ways the journalists going in, does something to the soul of society... that somehow the mind and the imagination will survive I think there are times when we have to go to war. The opening, camera work, acting and some of the characters are original. great body of work. "Best Art Film" and "Best Commercial Film". However, can you objectively determine whether this film is commercial or artistic... ?
I enjoyed the movie! It genuinely amazes me that so many people will go to any lengths and write up rubbish. I honestly thought the movie would be long and boring but it was the complete opposite. Definitely worth the watch. Though it is very dramatic and very well done with a sense of period style. The killings are pretty brutal. Interesting story, and the actors are great. It seemed to pass quickly as it held my interest throughout. The drawback for me is the VFX blood. The violence may bother some folks but it needed to portray the Vampires. I did like how it ended with knowing what happened to all the players. I need to try to get the Vampire's breath at the end as my ringtone.
