Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

Breathless, innovative, intelligent... this is an extraordinary movie. To be seen at all costs! I remember when everybody applauded when the Nouvelle Vague freed the images, back in the 60s -well, this is the new Nouvelle Vague. This is not the triumph of the director, or the cameraman's, but of the editor. And still, this is not a boring "experimental" movie, but a sizzling political thriller which doesn't need spectacular stunts to keep you riveted to your seat. The actors are not well known, and to say the truth the acting does not matter much -it certainly matters less than the eyes of the voyeur/ organizer. Until the last seconds, the omnipresent "hero" is faceless. Welcome into the world of anonymous power!

OK if you didn't watched the movie, beware, i'm gone spoil a lot in this review.First of all i have been following the work of Kourtrajeme since a long time ( almost since the beginning ). That's how i heard about this movie. I have been following the teasing on their Facebook fan page since the beginning of the project, and i was very excited about the idea of watching the movie since day 1. The movie is about a teenage hacker, involved in the Anonymous. While hacking a random server on the net he discovers videos about what we think is a terrorist attack in the french Parisian subway that happened a few days ago. He starts to investigate and he is gone discover that it's a big conspiracy by the french government to get reelected. This film just came out during the french presidential elections, and the french president Nicolas Sarkozy is known to use a lot the security issues in his campaign( i m not even mentioning the Mohamed Merah events ... ). This is a euphemism to say that this is a political partisan movie ...So ....First of all, and this is the biggest issue to me in that movie, the acting is just terrible ... Mélanie Doutey is just acting really bad, and Olivier Barthelemys as well. I understand that this is a small budget movie ( not so small if you believe IMDb ... ) but come on ...The other thing that bugs me is that, it sounds that they got advise about the hacking world, and hacking techniques. So they tried to be as realistic as possible about that. Hey i have an advice for you guys, editing ip tables in a linux system to hack it is a pretty cheap hacking exploit ... So this just sounds really stupid to 'try' to be realistic about that, and to finally be an epic fail instead of assuming it and going into a science fiction plot.Another thing is the graphic point of view which is really cheap. This guy is suppose to be a mastermind hacker, but he can't afford more than a couple of 15" screen from the 90's. So OK, the acting is bad, the plot is weak. What else ?Well, sounds to me that Cédric Jimenez and Arnaud Duprey smoked a joint with Mathieu Kassovitz while watching a Person of interest episode ...Don't waste your time on this movie, watch a few episodes of Continuum, Person of interest, or even the classic Enemy of the State which are way better.

What a delightful thrilling and so unusual crime flick. I did not expect such a good surprise; i only knew the overall topic, the pitch, but not in details. Absolutely awesome. As far as I know, that's the first film since Sidney Lumet's ANDERSON TAPES that shows us a story in such a way. But maybe I am wrong, I have perhaps missed some ones. The tale of an anonymous hacker - whose we only see the face in the last seconds of the feature - succeeds in watching some people involved in a major bomb attempt in a big railway station. Our anonymous lead is a high rate, high tech professional in his field. A real "master of the world"; he has access to anything, anywhere and can watch the actions of anyone. So he tracks down the terrorists only through webcams and surveillance cameras all over Paris, even inside a police station or an embassy.Of course, it is also a political film, that talks about the next presidential elections. And it is also a homage to George Orwell and his famous 1984, where everyone is watched by BIG BROTHER.A real gem, don't miss it at any cost.
