AUX QUATRE COINS includes an original device that immediately sets itself apart from any other classic narrative form. These first experiments were silent films with intertitles. Good concept, poorly executed.
Fresh and Exciting
The movie's only flaw is also a virtue: It's jammed with characters, stories, warmth and laughs.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
