Jiri Shunde
Today Shunde is a short documentary about the economic development of Shunde—a tiny and famous city in Pearl River Delta, China. Although to some extent it is official propaganda by CCTV, it has contained some rare and old footages about Shunde in the 1990s. It is worth mentioning that the former Estonian president and documentary filmmaker Lennart Georg Meri visited Shunde and this footage has been used in this short documentary too.

Reviews
The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
