Phoebe Waller-Bridge is wonderful. I wish I could have seen her 1-woman show that the show was based on. I plan to track down the play itself, but I'm sure she made use of the breaking of the 4th wall, which she executed very well in the show. Made for some hilarious moments that drew me into the characters life, making me feel that I was a part of her journey. I noticed twice that the sister broke the 4th wall to camera during season one, and once that the father did as well, which confused me, but no big deal. Wonder if other characters will do that purposefully in the future episodes...The series is a fun, well written story of what it's like to be lonesome in the world. The character Fleabag is so damn lonely and in pain, and we feel for her because she keeps on fighting the good fight to find love somewhere, anywhere. She' not a victim and that makes her a hero. Phoebe herself is a hero too for making a name for herself and creating her own series, which explores life as a single, hyper-sexual, romantic in this fast paced world of fear, desires and madness. Looking forward to more from her!!

Not my typical cup of tea. Watched an episode with no intent and before I knew it I was smiling. Then laughing. Phoebe has amazing comedic talent. Even an old guy like me can recognize her talent. Quirky, irreverent, intelligent humor. Not something in abundance here in the states.

If you appreciate a fresh approach to television and you're open minded you will love Fleabag. Unlike just about anything you've ever seen, Fleabag is hilariously raunchy. I can't wait for season 2.

Sadly predictable and possibly written by first year college media students!I gave the first episode a go and it was OK, then I went on to the second episode and the start just clean put me OFF!Without giving anything away, the very beginning of the second episode which starts inside a London Underground carriage with folks going off to work ...what happens is childish, annoying and OH SO SO PREDICTABLE.A known song by many used and abused in such a way that every teenager and media student thought of it in their head one day, but then realised "naaah that is dumb".I think sometimes writers create this kind of pap when they are still inebriated after a heavy weekend, then think that their ideas are great, but if they only sober up and stop snorting white stuff, they will find that its not that entertaining!
