Stephen King's It
Things are not right in the small American town of Derry: half a dozen children have been murdered or are untraceable. “It” – evil – is once again playing its bloody game in the form of the clown Pennywise, just like it did thirty years ago. Seven teenage friends, known as the “Losers Club” and all of them ridiculed outsiders, were only able to defeat him because they remembered their common strength and used supernatural powers. Only one of them remained in Derry: librarian Mike Hanlon. He brings the group back together to fulfill an old vow. Deep down in the sewer labyrinth, the men once again face their fear of horror personified.

Very Cool!!!
Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Absolutely the worst movie.
Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
Most know the story, a killer clown that terrorizes kids in a little town on the east coast. But many don't know this TV mini series follows the book much closer than the new release in 2017. This series is split into two parts. The first part is excellent. The second part is fair. What makes the first part of the film so good is the characters who play their roles. All seven of the children in this film are great actors/actresses. We are able to identify with them and follow them through the 1960s town of Derry Maine. Tim Curry who plays Pennywise is exceptional to say the least. He plays the clown that will forever terrify kids and grown ups for years to come. Overall the kids who play the part are great actors, with a good script, and beautiful cinematography throughout the entire first series. One of my favorite films!
I was eleven and I had nightmares for months and was afraid of horror movies and clowns for years. I began to watch horrors again only few years ago and clowns still give me the creeps. Almost three decades later I decided (not to say I gathered courage) to see "It" again. Thank you for childhood trauma, Stephen. In the small town, where children are disappearing and being murdered, a group of boys and one girl joined forces to fight evil and became friends for life. Decades later, the killings begin again, and they leave their lives and gather in their home-town to defeat evil once more. The movie alternates between these two timelines, which is typical of Stephen King's style. There are other features of the "King of Horror" - a childhood trauma, an evil that lurks hidden behind the facade of a quiet town, ordinary people (often children) who, with their mutual trust and unselfish sacrifice, win victory over supernatural forces. The acting is good, especially performances of the children, but Tim Curry steals the movie in the role of Pennywise, character that will make you hate clowns forever.7/10
Anyone who reviewed this movie as being good are trolling you. They want you to see it so you can get angry and dissapointed as they did when they saw it.This is the only rational reason why someone would recommend this garbage.Either that or they are easily impressed and and should never be allowed to rate or review another movie again. The book is a masterpiece but this, this is just garbage, pure garbage. It had such great potential, but they botched it big time.I won't say more because i don't want to spend another second thinking about this waste of time.I woulda gave it 0 stars but 1 star is the minimum rating. Do yourself a favor and skip this piece of ****.You're better off watching the 2017 version. It's actually great and quite scary. And the acting is top notch !!!
An awkward statement. ridiculous manifestations of antagonist and his behavior, as if this is not an evil force, but some kind of domestic hooligan. The behavior of a woman is stupefying(first she kisses one, then throughout the movie, constantly in the arms of another).
