When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Apart from the technical aspects which every Shankar's movie provides us with, this movie has a strong story- line with a blend of love and vengeance. The cinematography was superb and so was the cast and especially Vikram in this case. The total China episode was the biggest plus for the movie. The trailer was promising but a bit misleading. In my view, run-time could be the only problem.

the first thing to say is about Vikram .. unbelievable acting.. but the plot was bad .. Shankar's thinking level is too bad .. very old story line that revolves around revenge .. but the revenge in different ways .. bad comedy scenes.. many unwanted scenes in the movie ..the movie is too boring in the first half..then gains pace in the second the visual of the songs are great and u never take your eyes off the screen.. the twist before the climax was bad..songs are really good .. A R Rahman has done a good job .. the camera was handled perfectly by P C Sreeram for a story like this..the movie is not worth a 3 year wait

I, directed and written by Shankar whom claims that he has delivered/conveyed a "Masterpiece" which was starred by Vikram, Amy Jackson in lead roles in "I". The soundtrack and the BGM were composed by the two-times academy award winner A.R.Rahman who has done a prodigious job.Now, let us bounce to the plot and the direction. The plot was very predictable, I would like to emphasize the word "very". I watched "I" with my family and friends and they predicted the whole story after 30 minutes of watching the movie. The plot is like the whole sum of "Cliché" The direction was a "so-so" or "run-of-the-mill" job done by Shankar.The action sequence should be seriously highlighted. As I've read all the other reviews, the action sequence in the bodybuilding competition were praised continuously. In my view, I just realized that a light bodybuilder just lift two heavy bodybuilders at the same time which is beyond the capabilities of human beings. Can Arnold Schwarzenegger do that?Moreover,Director Shankar spent to much on the 5 minute video song sequences. Director Shankar keeps saying that "I" is a different movie and it would make an impact globally, I disagree. "I" is a typical Indian Tamil musical romantic thriller that has a very weak and predictable plot but Vikram's hard-work is noteworthy and praiseworthy.The CGI is placed erroneously in the movie. Honestly, the CGI is only placed in the song sequences and it is very bad for a big budget movie. I guess "Avatar" is way more better than this garbage and it has a lower budget than "I".In a nutshell, "I" did not hit the spot; dreadful.

I am from London and South Indian films are Not popular here compared to Bollywood. This was my first Indian film that was not Bollywood and i was surprised on how interesting it was. I never heard of this film nor did i see any trailers. I randomly saw this film at my friends house with the intentions of watching the first 5 minutes, but i was glued on till the end. I am not familiar with any of the actors apart from Upen Patel who did a good job in this film. The main Actor performed pretty well and i wish him all the success. Amy Jackson from Liverpool is Gorgeous and does a great job in this film. I want to see more of her and I hope she can make her Mark in Bollywood and gets signed up for more films. The Movie has a unique storyline for a Indian film. Its like a Fairytale love story SLASH Action Revenge Movie. I am adding this to my Movie collection. Highly enjoyable film. Recommended.
