In his youth, he worked hard to feed a large family — he didn't even think about school. And now, not the finger, trying to catch up, has become the most diligent student. Neither neighbors nor relatives understand his thirst for knowledge and laugh at the old man, but he does not pay attention. "I will get an education and teach the children of our village," a tenth grader dreams on the threshold of his seventieth birthday.
