Good story, Not enough for a whole film

The story-telling is good with flashbacks.The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

The Show was great until season 3. Then it was all right until the last episode of season 5, when creators of the show decided that Chuck and Blair loved each other and should be together. So, to my opinion, season 6 deserves 2 stars only. Many fans of this show love Chuck Bass. But to me, he is just a bastard, with only a little conscience, who dumped and insulted Blair several times, treated her like his doormat, sent her to have sex with the man to save his family business, openly and with much pride slept with piles of women, then, standing next to Blair on the roof he didn't move a finger to save his Father's life. Knowing Blair from 5 seasons, I could not believe she would marry Chuck after all that. At the very end of the show, Creators decided that Gossip Girl was Dan Humphrey. The show narrated by a Girl, with a lot of girl stuff in a blog, with Dan physically out of the keyboard when messages arrive. Why not making Kristen Bell the Gossip Girl?

I knew about "Gossip girl" for half my life when I decided to give it a try in 2018. I can not believe that this plot ever made it to a show, not to mention it got this good a rating. I believe the only reason for that is that no one who rated it 10/10 watched this thing episode after episode, instead one episode a week. In any case, this series is a tastless and hideous joke. No story, no intention, no depth... this show is the worst and poorly written piece of junk I have ever read, seen and thought about. A total waste of time and intellect. This show is an insult to humanity. If there would be a 0 star rating it would get nothing but disgust.

Blake Lively I love. Serena not so much.I mean the character is just completely unrealistic to the point where it gets annoying after three seasons. Her love life is a complete mess, and not in a cute kind of way where you feel sorry for her. I get that she is a beautiful, rich, kind girl and that men would probably fall for that type of woman all the time in real life but is it seriously possible that she NEVER gets rejected? Even the men she hurts and toys around with in pretty tasteless and disrespectful ways always seem to come back to her and I just find it hard to believe that an actual person like that could exist.Not to mention that she sleeps around like a class A slut but because it's Serena it gets so glorified that you would almost think there is nothing wrong with jumping into bed with every single guy who you like, or is your teacher, or a congressman, or your stepbrother....The thing that probably annoys me most is the fact that she can get away with everything, she never has to face the consequences of her actions. This all being said, I love to hate her, and the show is one of the best in the high school/teenager genre.

It is entertaining, if you like the genre. I would be cutting my wrists if my son and daughters had that style of life and I wouldn't want them to see it, because of the bad examples. For mature people, it is fun, love the fashion styles and the characters are likable enough to make one want to check in for the next episode
