Just recovering from the horrifying events this small town has recently experienced and barely getting over the loved ones they have lost. The locals are once again terrorized by the nightmare that they once thought was over. Only this time it is out for blood, revenge and no longer human, mutated into a horrifying gruesome creature like none that has been seen before. What once was the sweet boy named 'Johny Campbell' is now something to fear,as the worms burrow through his body he becomes what is surely a walking nightmare from Hell.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
