The life and works of Irish writer Stephen MacKenna (1872-1934) form the documentary material on which the piece is built. MacKenna is best known for his translation from Ancient Greek of Third century philosopher Plotinus.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
