Crappy film
I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
The psychiatric Julio Degrás (Ramón Langa) is invited by his old friend Captain Salanueva (Carlos Sobera) to help him in a murder case with five victims. Salanueva explains that apparently a young man named Ricardo (Rodolfo Sancho) had killed the victims in a bloodshed and committed suicide later; his girlfriend Lidia (Bárbara Elorrieta) was found in shock on the road after a car accident and might have witnessed the murderers and help to solve the case. Julio reads Ricardo's diary and finds that he travelled to the village of Senilla with Lidia to an old house that belonged to his family, the Forqué, and discovered that the spot is a coven of the Chornets family that had annihilated his family in the past. Now Ricardo must kill the survivors of the Chomets to fulfill an ancient curse. "Pacto de Brujas" is a confused tale of witchcraft that has a messy screenplay. The story begins with Julio and his wife Luisa in a Ouija board seeking out Ricardo, but the relationship between them is never explained. The characters are awfully developed and it is hard to understand the war between the Forqué and the Chornets families that apparently are composed of witches. This films has not been released in Brazil and I watched it in a Spanish DVD. My vote is four. Title (Brazil): Not Available
