The Two Barbers
A Terrytoons cartoon released 1 September 1944. All is peaceful and quiet in the town of Terrytown. There's a butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker. The town also happily supports two barber shops, a big one for men and a little one under the floor for mice. All is cheerful until the appearance of a very mean, hungry old cat with big teeth and sharp claws! When one of the mice clips his whiskers, the cat runs back to the alley and gets more cats to come with him to clean out Terrytown. All looks doomed. The battles are furious. The mice are losing. Then a call goes out for the Champion of Justice. Mighty Mouse bounds to the rescue.

Must See Movie...
I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
In a small town, there are two barbers: one regular fellow and another one who's a mouse. they get along well, especially as there are a lot more mice who need haircuts, so the human handles the overflow. However, a bunch of cats decide to grab the mice in this typical Mighty Mouse cartoon.Since the point of Mighty Mouse cartoons is to show a little fellow (Mighty Mouse) beating up on big bullies (any cat), to make Terry's core audience of small children feel they have a chance, they are almost all the same story. Only the settings vary. Even the sound effects are identical from cartoon to cartoon, and there are few, if any gags. They are the essence of "If you've seen one, you've seen them all" and I've seen more than one. Don't you bother.
