When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

If you are a huge fan of watching bad films then put this on your list of films to see. This film is available in multi-pack dvds. These are a group of films that are sold in a set for around $10 and most of the time you get around 6 movies. That is how I discovered this film. The opening has children from around the world singing Christmas Songs. These scene goes on & on. We finally get to see see the American Children and the "Christmas Song" they are singing is Mary Had a Little Lamb".As for the major plot On December 24, Santa prepares for his yearly journey at his Toyland castle in space. He plays the organ while his children helpers from all over the world sing. Meanwhile, in Hell, Lucifer instructs his chief demon Pitch to travel to Earth and turn the children of the world against Santa.In a busy marketplace, Pitch attempts to convince five children to "make Santa Claus angry": Lupita, a poor girl; Billy, the son of wealthy but negligent parents; and three trouble making brothers. Pitch fails at convincing Lupita to steal a doll from a vendor but succeeds in convincing the brothers to break a shop window. Santa's child workers alert him to these events.Unable to travel to Earth before nightfall on Christmas Eve, he instead uses equipment to watch Pitch and the children. One device allows him to view Lupita's dream, induced by Pitch, in which she is tormented by life-sized dancing dolls who entice her to steal. He also listens as the three brothers plot to break into Billy's home and steal his presents. They also attempt to write a letter to Santa claiming they have been good, but Santa's voice informs them that he can see all they do.I don't want to tell much more except WATCH IT and have fun.

From his castle above the North Pole in outer space, jolly old "Santa Claus" (Jose Elias Moreno) plays the organ for his workers in Toyland. Santa's helpers are children of "all races and creeds." They dress, work and perform in cultural dress. Like any grade school Christmas show, this long opening segment will be enjoyed by friends and relatives of the kids. Meanwhile, there is trouble brewing in Hell. Intent on destroying Christmas, Satan devilishly orders his dancing demon "Pitch" (Jose Luis Aguirre) to Earth. The mission is to make Earth's children naughty. If kids are behaving badly, Satan believes Santa Claus will become angry and end Christmas..."Santa's most devoted helper, Merlin the wizard," and his personal blacksmith help Santa in a plan to defeat the Devil. A poor Mexican girl resists the urge to steal a doll, but three boys behave badly. If you want to wean your children off Christmas, you could start by showing them this movie. This production is, for the most part, inept. More importantly, the Christian villain (the Devil) doesn't work in the "Santa Claus" story. A mischievous, overworked elf might have made a better antagonist. Two of the better segments occur when a rich boy and a poor girl receive their Christmas gifts. How do I review a movie like this? It makes almost no sense at all. Well I might as well look into the plot, whatever it is. In this movie Santa Claus doesn't live in the North Pole but instead in outer space. So he's basically an alien. Anyways his helpers are also not what you would usually see. There are no elves but instead, children from around the world. But there are only three out of so many children that even help him do anything. In fact the first 5 minutes of the movie is them all singing. But whatever. There always has to be a bad guy right? Here it's a devil named Pitch. Satan (yes Satan is in a Christmas movie) orders Pitch to ruin Christmas basically by making children do bad things. Yes that's about the most of what he does. Then the most random of all characters appears to help Santa, and that is Merlin the Magician. So we have Merlin in a movie about Santa Claus. Who's next, Forrest Gump? Anyway Pitch is defeated and they all live happily ever after. Honestly it's pretty easy to see why this movie is bad, but it still feels like a Christmas movie either way. There really isn't much else to say.

With the aid of Merlin, Santa Claus must defeat the evil machinations of the devil Pitch to ruin Christmas.Why is this film in the Bottom 100? I wonder these things, having seen numerous Bottom 100 films -- many simply do not deserve to be there, and although it is an honor of sorts, it is one that should be earned. This film is no great feat, but it is far from the worst. Is "Hell's Threshold" in the Bottom 100? No. But it darn well should be! The worst part of this film is the first ten minutes. I really did not need to see every country represented by talentless little toddlers. I got the point after two or three. How many groups were there? Maybe twenty? Oh my! But after that, not a bad film. Pitch is a funny villain, Santa is a good hero. And Merlin, while an odd addition to Christmas, actually makes some level of sense. (Santa has to get his magic somewhere, does he not?)
