Watch The Star of Bethlehem For Free

Admirable film.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

This might of been interesting had the DVD came with instructions on how to download a print a visual aide to help you get a more clear vision of the night of the birth of the Christ Child. This concept of this special had me excited. I could not wait to watch. Once I started watching what I saw was a hack job of filming and editing. This is not worth your time.

Well on to this reviewPresenter Rick Larson walks you through Biblical and historical clues revealing the incredible significance of this celestial event as well as the vastness of God s creativity. Features: Produced by Stephen McEveety (Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ) Dramatic presentation on the significance of Bethlehem s Star and its connection to the life of Christ.Now I believe Jesus was an actual person. The events surrounding his birth life and death are always controversial. Now this one presentation was poorly filmed and edited. Because this was a videotaped lecture most of the time the camera is just focused on Rick Larson. He has visual aids that that he refers to but the camera really doesn't cut to the visuals. One time the camera just cuts to "Nothing" and we just hear the man talking. I think whoever made this DVD was just out for a cash grab. The filmed it and just put on a DVD to sell without much effort in post production. The whole thing needs to be blocked and re-shot with multi cameras. This was poorly made. It is so bad you may fall asleep.Now again the information is interesting but the presentation shown here was made for a live audience. So there is no impact on a home viewer. It would of been an easy fix in post production. They could have shown the "Visulas" more clearly and use the original voice track over the visual inserts.If you own this film I am not "critical of the message" just the way "You delivered it"

This stands out from other films of its type by declaring how its conclusions were reached, offering the viewer the chance to check them independently. This would require the use of a specific software package (identified in the film) and perhaps a little enthusiasm to learn some basic astronomy (which is probably needed to use the software anyway). I have not yet checked the results myself, because I found the case so convincing, but I have made a mental note to do so eventually.if you find the story of the star of Bethlehem and the many wise men charming but hard to believe (astronomers, not astrologers probably, and there were most likely many more than three) then this is the film for you.

This documentary presented compelling evidence on the events which happened over two thousand years ago. With the age of computers and scientific data available, the "signs" from the heavens can finally be reveled. Mr. Larson takes you through scripture and presents his findings in a way that every member of your family will understand and enjoy. Was there a creator? Is the universe a gigantic clock? What are the signs in the heavens? You will ponder these questions and more as you view this presentation. I found myself wanting more information after the viewing. Larson provides references to third party software so you can duplicate what he has presented. This video will strengthen your faith or challenge your unbelief in the events leading to the birth of Christ.
