Reviews
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Absolutely weak on the story, usual for Hanung's movies. I watch almost every movie that he directs. My opinion, he needs to get a better writer. I can't understand why you make a movie that has poor writing and screenplay. Salman Aristo just needs to work more in the story, cause all the movies that he writes are sucks. In the first scene of the movie, Hanung really steal Scorsese trademark. This is not the first time he steals from other Hollywood movies. 1.At Ayat Ayat Cinta, the soundtrack from Schindler's list. 2. At Wanita Berkalung Sorban, he appears little bit in the movie, just like Night Shyamalan. Little advise for hanung, Indonesian audience are smarter now, they're able to judge which one is worth to be spend money at. Most of the Indonesian people, they hate Indonesian movies, especially these days. . The one that playing at the theater only horror and sex. Only few movies that consider worth of watching.Hanung,Please be more original!!!
