Back to Christmas

Saddened about spending another Christmas alone, Ali meets Ginny, a quirky and spunky woman, at a diner on Christmas Eve. Ali tells Ginny that she was to be married on New Year's Eve last year, but over the course of the holidays she and her fiancé unexpectedly split. When Ali explains that she would do everything differently if she could go back in time, Ginny tells her that "sometimes people do get second chances." The following morning, Ali wakes up to find herself transported back to that Christmas before her planned wedding. While she sets out to avoid the mistakes of her past, she learns that changing the course of history is no easy task.

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

I was anxiously waiting for Michael Muhney, he's a great actor with a promising full-filling career, as a stand alone actor, in any film. In Giving the Main FEMALE character, a chance to go back in time, and fix a break-up so that the couple would stay together, is a really great synopsis. if we could all go back in time, and FIX BREAK-UPS, in real-life, I don't necessarily think it would be good. But, thankfully it's fiction and I also Loved Gloria Loring, as well. She's a great Veteran actress. I'm really hoping to see Michael Muhney, get more movie gigs.

Very happy to have watched this movie. They did most things very well and some things not so well. Kelly Overton was great in the lead as Ali, but they could have spent more time developing her character in the beginning. Instead they had a stupid scene where her boss makes jokes about making a pass ate her. Excellent when she runs into her old live-in partner (Cameron) and he is with Lauren Storm who plays 3 different parts in the movie. The mom and dad are both fantastic and the mom plays a major role in the movie in projecting her dream upon her daughter. A thought provoking part of the story indeed. Cameron is great as self centered/obnoxious who is only liked by the mother. Nice to see Jonathan Patrick Moore as the good guy Nick (he was Nick in the Mistletones). It is an ION TV movie.

A woman gets the chance to go back to the previous Christmas Eve to try and save her relationship. Although it's a predictable Christmas romance film, this scores due to the fact it's actually quite funny. Kelly Overton makes for an engaging lead actress as Ali, as well as being easy on the eye she displays a good comic timing and delivers plenty of witty lines. A sharp and witty script means there is a sharp sense of humour throughout the film especially when Mark Hutter and Moses Storm are on screen. The two male lead love interests work less well for me, coming across as a bit bland. This is very much aimed at the female market and most of it's target audience should enjoy it. Thanks to it's pretty leading lady and funny script there is enough here to make this endurable to guys as well. As long as you don't expect too much this is an enjoyable way to waste a couple of lazy hours on a winter morning.

This movie was perfect for one of those days when you don't want any more drama and just need to laugh. It wasn't jut your average, cheesy TV romance movie. i have always had low standards for TV movies, but this one best all odds and warmed my heart. The plot, even though this was just a TV movie, was intricate and conveyed a message that got through to the audience. There were many comedic moments and even my dad was able to get into it. I am a huge an of Michael Muhney, so that may have made me more accepting of it, but overall I think it was a great movie and its staying on my PVR for next year. This movie is fun an appropriate for the entire family. Sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.
