Reviews
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Let me start this review by saying that I am not the greatest experimental movie fan at all, so a 6/10 from me is like an 8/10 by everybody else I guess, maybe even a 9. With this 4-minute film here, director Bruce Conner really won me over. I thought this was quite impressive. Ray Charles delivers nicely as usual and the images make an impact too and work together very well with the music although they are so so different. This is what I call an artistic approach, not filming a lemon for 7 minutes. I applaud Bruce Conner for this achievement and I highly recommend it to everybody else. An experimental film that is easily accessible for everybody. Very well done. Very relevant. watch it.
