Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

Excellent adaptation.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Finally watched Panjaa (Telugu) staring Pawan Kalyan & Sarah Jane Dias !!! Overall rating 3/5 !!!Positive Points of the movie :Cinematography ,Direction, Stunt and Action Sequences ,Locations for the movie ,done in West Bengal and parts of South India !, Music is the key factor for elevating the movie's collection, well shot locations for the songs ! The main theme song Panjaa has been changed in the DVD as the Introduction song which lot of people complained for seeing the song in the Theater being played after the movie finished ! now they have changed the song's position as the Intro song !!!Power Star Pawan kalyan has done justice to his role and played it very well !! Then the Bad guys meaning the Villains were the second best part of the movie as they were really evil !!! Other cast including Jackie Shroff and Munna played by Adivi Sesh were the most powerful characters in the movie, loved the Australia accent that Sesh did !!! He was so bad in the movie, felt like killing him all the time, as he was a Drug addict !!! Tanikella Bharani was at his best playing the sneaky and sly fellow who will do anything for money !!!Comedy was one of the best parts of the movie, Brahmanandam and Ali have done there comedy very well and Subaraju as a supporting actor suited him very well than his villain roles !!!Negative Points of the movie:StoryKey part, WHERE IS THE GOD-DAMN STORY !!!?!!! the 1st part of the movie looked like a slide show, as each and every character appeared from Oblivion and just got mashed up in the story, though it was explained clearly in the 2nd half, preferred the 1st half to the 2nd half of the movie as it was interesting to watch !!! Cast, esp the Actresses played by Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania respectfully !Didn't like their roles , one was a club dancer (A.L) and the other was a Green Peace activist and Biochemist ! Doesn't make sense how a hit-man like Jai (Pawan kalyan ) comes to know them, one is like his sister but flirts with him always and the other was a friend and then a lover ?!!! WHat !?!!! Seriously ?!!! Lol !!! Pawan Kalyan's dance in the theme song was really funny and his comedy with Ali was exaggerated !! Generally the movie is extremely Sad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every person close to Power Star Pawan Kalyan gets killed in some or other way , what a miserable story ?!!! Probably if it wasn't so Sad , the movie would have been a bigger hit !!! Totally Different from the way the director Vishnu Vardhan would take a movie !!!OverallAnyways it is still a different and stylish movie to see, and it in no way is like Balu (2005) Telugu movie of Pawan Kalyan !!! Different type of movie , truly a trend-setter of the Tollywood Industry !!

Watched the movie today at PVR Benguluru...after missing the first day.Firstly to watch any HD movies one need to have large screen and good sound system.To watch this one need to watch that kind of theatre where it has large screen and excellent sound system..luckily i watched that kind of screen..Second,coming to movie three members should be thankful,one power star,director Vishnu and producer ..one big wow to all to bring a such kind of feast to audiences.Screenplay,directing are damn too good that ,in t-wood industry cannot provide such kind of technical values to movies.Story is some what in slow pace.There was less role for Jackie sher off and also scenes between the hero and his boss(Jackie sher off).First half gives some moral values and how the man is bounded by respect and loyalty.Second half tells what he missed in his life gets back in the form of heroine.Director was new to t-wood i think he missed the quotient here because such kind of Hollywood concept and taking many people cannot receive much.so the story gets clichés between the scenes.Two heroines are good in this movie. Both acted very well and given their best effort.Other actors just done as per the role.Last but not the least.The whole movie bears on power star.In this he just went to another level.What i liked about hero means compared to his previous one's calmness,silence and how much character is required to played.Nowadays i think no top hero would do that.When coming to mass dance there's no doubt that no one can beat power star and very first time shown some slow pace steps.Allover its a just feast to Hardcore fans of power starIf u want mass mas-ala entertainer don't dare to watch this movie. This movie is only for who are having idea about tech values and some kind of foreign elements and also hardcore fans.there is more to talk about but i don't want readers to study it like a book... My rating 8/10

Guys, Watched movie today in Sydney... Spell bound.. What an art work.. Excellent taking... Completely different way of narrating story.. good screenplay .. would have been racy in some scenes but thats OK.. And of course Superb performance by Pawan Kalyan... Excelled in all departments .. Settled comedy , Emotional scenes , Action sequences and especially Dance... Paparayudu and Title tracks will be an eye feast... See any al pachino's movies or Cult classic Hollywood movies .. you will respect panja...I have appreciate Vishnu's taking and Pawan's brave decision in accepting this kind of script... This is not a regular formula based movie ... You can take songs picturization as best example to differentiate.. I don't think anyone in the Tollywood till now dared to have songs also just a part of scene or story.. there are no full songs except 2.. every song is well placed.. I know people are disappointed with title track after climax.. but actually that's a good Decision.. if the song is placed as intro then movie would have started on high pitch and that won't work... This movie is a good start for tollywood to produce efficient movies and just forget about bullshit regular commercial movies....In One word Technical Brilliance.....

Story :Jai(Pawan Kalyan) is a Trust Worthy Hit-man to Bhagwan (Jackie Shroff) Who Takes Cares of Jai From his Childhood. Munna (Sesh Adivi) is The Only Son Of Bhagawan Who Loves him the most and Wants him To Get No Harm From Any others. Munna is a reckless Sadist who Cares Nobody. Jai gets attention of Sandhya (Sara Jane Dias) who is a Environment Tree Lover. Later Jaidev Gets a Situation due to Munna and Bhagawan Gives Order to Kill Jai(PK). Rest of the story is all about The Situation what Jai(PK) into.Artist Performances :Pawan Kalyan's Super Cool Beard Look Wid Awesome Set of Suits and Good Costumes Make Him Look Ultimate cool. His Performance is Extra Ordinary as Hit-man Character. Sara Jane Dias Looks cool in Classic Dresses and Has Done Part Very Well. Anjali Lavania is Good and Sexy in her Little Role which Suited her Well. Adivi Sesh's Acting is Perfect as a Sadistic guy. Brahmanandam is good as Papa Rayudu and gave some little laughs. Ali as PK's Assistant and Friend Does his Part Very well. Jackie Shroff Shows his Acting Skills And Makes Justice to his role. Atul Kulakarni, Tanikella Bharani, Subbaraju, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Jhansi all Are Perfect Fit For Their Roles.Plus Points Of The Film :Pawan Kalyan Is Super Cool in His New Beard Look,Stylish Suits And Awesome Fights. Top Class Fights all over the movie and Stylised Interesting First Half. BackGround Score is Too Good.Minus Points Of The Film :Slow Screenplay Narration Looses The Interest From The Second Half. Some Little Rambles in the Story ( These Hardly Noticeable Like Character of Tanikella Bharani).All Songs Were Chopped as Bit Songs.That is Truly not Acceptable.Overall Analysis :All People Were Saying that the Storyline is Just like BALU. Who Ever Says Just Slap him and Say "If he is Playing a Role Below a Don Doesn't Mean That This is a Balu Again". Panja is Ultimate Stylish Cool Movie Which is Wasted in the Second Half due to Slow Narration That Looses The Grip Of Story. This Movie Will Work out at Multiplex's And A Class Areas. Pawan Kalyan Fans Will Be Happy. So Go Widout Any Expectations and Take Out the BALU sensation From Ur Mind so That U can Watch the Movie without any Other Secondary Thoughts. I Would Say Panjaa is Above Average. Not a Blockbuster though.
