Load of rubbish!!
Instant Favorite.
Had I known that this was one of those mockumentary type movies with unfathomably bad camera-work, then I would never had wasted $2 on buying the DVD. And I will go as far as saying that the movie isn't even worth the disc it is pressed on.The storyline is just your typical found footage type; a group of people are filming a documentary when they find themselves in deep trouble. After having suffered through 79 minutes of unbelievably bad camera-work, I can say that this movie was bad on every level and every aspect. And it is not clear what the event actually was. Zombies? Disease? I don't know, and after the movie ended, I can't say that I really cared about what it actually was.The acting in the movie was adequate, but that did nothing to salvage this awful train wreck of a movie. As with all movies in this bad found footage genre, then the camera-work was all over the place. And that is really something that doesn't go well with me at all. If I pay money for a movie, then I expect a proper production, and not just getting something that I could make myself with my own digital video camera.I suppose that some evidence is better left unearthed, unheard of and unseen, and "Evidence" is definitely all that.
This was one of the better found footage movies i've seen. The idea was amazing and it looked amazing for only having a 12,000 dollar budget. ***SPOILERS***Basically the whole movie is about these people who go camping in the woods to discover this ape-like creature hunting them. After trying to escape, they get caught in the mix of something they were never meant to be in. They discover mutated people/animals, alien- like creatures, the same ape-like creature as before, etc. The whole area was basically an area for the military to do experiments and one of the creatures got out which caused all the others to escape as well. An obvious sign that they were in a military zone was the "Trespassing" sign they saw at the beginning and mocked the camera guy (Not good with names. Ryan i think) about his spelling. All in all, it was an AWESOME movie. So far one of the best found footage B-movies I've seen.
Do not make the mistake I did and judge this film by it's cover! After glancing at the cover a couple of times I chose not to watch the film. Anyway, one night I had nothing new left to watch so dug this out and put it on. I was blown away! The story starts with the couples getting ready to go on a camping trip in their big RV. From the get go the acting is top class and convincing, which is very important for a 'Found Footage' style movie. I got a genuine shock when I saw one of the creatures for the 1st time, which is rare in these days of cheesy CGI. The film gradually builds suspense and fear, and then once it gets rolling it refuses to stop and become a roller-coaster of a ride as you are pulled into the horror and confusion that the characters are experiencing. Just as you think you have an inkling of what is going, the movie throws a curve ball! For almost the entire second half of the film I was on the edge of my seat wondering what on earth was going to happen. At the films end a few questions have been answered but many more unanswered questions are raised. The movie finishes whilst the action is still going and made me immediately look on line for more information. I really hope they make a sequel as I want to know what has happened. My best guess is that a military experiment went wrong (don't they all), and some sort of chemical was released that mutated humans into monsters. Either that, or, because the base appears to be underground then maybe they were digging for something and found it. Really hope they make a sequel!
Two guys and two girls set out in an R/V to go on a camping trip. Once there they set up their tents and start drinking. Strange noises are heard at night and the next day while on a walk, they see a glimpse of a creature they can't identify. The next night things get worse, and by the morning one of them is missing. The last 40-45 minutes of this movie I won't reveal, but are a complete 180 from the beginning and are relentless, featuring awesome special effects including one of the best head shots I have seen.Incredibly, this movie's IMDb page says this movie was made for just over $12,000, but it looks like the budget was $1,000,000. I believe it adds something new to the found footage category and the end credits sequence is extremely well done. Worth seeking out.
