I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

Hi All, I first rented this movie from Video Ezy, Australia in 1998. The first time I played this - I loved it. I was and am not worried whether it was a B grade film or thought about the level of quality the movie provided. I initially rented it out as YES it had some soft porn content as envisaged when reading about the storyline and also it intrigued me.I watched it several times during the rental of the film, and then over time I taped it when it came through cable TV. I had this recorded for me as a surprise gift (that is how much I liked it) through my partner. Which obviously we watched together the first time round.I watched it again tonight (believe it or not) after a few years because I watched another movie of similar nature and I felt like watching it again. The things I liked about this movie was: firstly the hot and sultry actresses. Certainly gave off some steam! Such as Lisa Boyle as first interest and certainly Shauna O'Brien. They oozed sexual appeal. Griffin Drew was there as well but my focus / attention was mainly set on Lisa & Shauna. My observations and favourite parts of the film were: the sex scene between Montana (Lisa Boyle) and Billy (Begue Georges). He was the french male with the muscles near the beginning of the film. I thought this scene was raunchy....individual likings as I see it.Although,I thought Montana portrayed a promiscuous teenager - namely at the age of 27 (in real age). She learnt eventually through being taught some simple life values when growing up as an adult. Then secondly, not the bathtub scene so much although I like watching girl to girl scenes, but mostly the montage' which Josh did of Elke (Shauna) with the rendition of "Slave to Love" by Bryan Ferry. In their terms was titled "So Sexual" with the background music of Slave To Love. I wonder what turns me on about this scene, as I see it....It was definitely Shauna's beauty, her confidence oozed throughout the clip, and the white bikinis comforting her gorgeous tanned and well-looked after body. They looked good together. I thought it was sensational that piece in the film. I liked the way it was put together. I usually rewind it a few times when it comes to that scene. And did tonight. So they are the most favourite parts of the film I liked in a sensual sense.Overall, I also thought the talks between the Dad (Jeff) and Montana (Lisa B) were worthwhile and good to listen for valuable advice. It was how the actors portrayed the words in the scenes, which I thought were quite convincing. Lastly, of course, Elke was great with her wisdom, positive and objective advice she bought towards the family. The seduction and sex scenes with the family were an added bonus and were meant to send a message to the viewer in a more pragmatic light.I overall think that Elke (the title as I know it) is a good film to watch without too much to take in, easy to understand and easy on the eye. Not much of a plot but I suppose a "feel-good film" in an angelic sense. At the end, the story as it was written - achieved some positive results. Thanks for your time,

One of the better examples of soft-core in the 90's. Yes the acting wasn't the greatest, but the plot was at least decent. The nude/sex scenes were good, particularly the bathtub scene. But there was some exhibition of my pet peeve. Congratulations to Shauna O'Brien and Raelyn Saalman for forgoing, and shame on Griffin Drew and Lisa Boyle/Cassandra Leigh for indulging in mass quantities of silicone. Why does anyone think that huge mounds of gel are more attractive than a woman's natural breasts? Gals, ... They're not! This is why 70's soft-core films are usually so much better than modern ones. The silicone show is distracting and ugly. As for FOTF, It's worth a look. Grade: B-

Edward Herman movie features a decent story line involving a disfunctional family caught up in the non-communication syndrome common to families where the husband has re-married to a younger woman who is rejected by the teenage daughter. A bit over played and under acted but saved by the sage advice (and liberal sexuality) of the "heroine", Elke played convincingly by the enticing Shauna O'Brien. Griffen Drew is delectable as Linda, the put-upon new wife, while Lisa Boyle is her usual vixen-like self as the rejecting daughter. The sex scenes are tasteful and erotic but lack emotion and passion, as is so often the case in this genre of soft core films. Still the morale fiber is kind of unique and the ending holds a bit of interest as everything comes together and the future looks considerably brighter for all concerned.

Also called "Elke's Erotic Nights", Shauna O'Brien comes through as a sexy relative, who combines her sexual prowess with a little bit of real-life advice. The family is in turmoil: the father is having trouble getting his kids to like his new, younger wife; the son can't find it in himself to tell his father he wants to be a photographer and not a lawyer. Griffin Drew plays the undersexed stepmother (wow, she's pretty young to be playing a stepmom, isn't she?), and Lisa Boyle is cast as the slutty, promiscuous teenager (??? Huh? Isn't she like 25?). Nothing's going right in this house, but Elke comes to the rescue and saves the day. She gives the stepmom a great workout in the bathtub, teaches the teenage slut not to spend every waking moment on her back, and after having sex with the father, gives him sound advice on getting in touch with his wayward son. It's like Elke is the advice expert all the guys would want to know. She'll tell you what to do....after she has sex with you! A very well thought out movie, not your standard B-movie fare.
