All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

Without getting into a futile debate over which was better: CSN or CSNY, the original trio shows here that Neil Young was NOT the power behind the throne. Pertaining to other accounts I have read here about David Crosby being stoned (based on his appearance) I know David Crosby and that is just his manner. He is a quiet and reserved professional who doesn't offer up flash on stage. In this "Daylight Again" Tour the three are backed up by hand-picked pros like Michael Finningan on keys and Joe Walsh alumni Joe Vitale on drums. I attended several of their concerts during this period and can attest that this video is an excellent document of their talents and experience. The video is well produced and never misses a shot when it comes to solos. In addition to the standard CSN fare, each artist also gets to shine in their own solo spotlight numbers. Crowd favorites were "For What It's Worth", "Long Time Gone", "Wooden Ships", "Cathedral", and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes". If you like CSN at all- you need to view this concert.

This is a 1982 concert by Crosby, Stills and Nash, in support of their "Daylight Again" CD release. Neil Young is not part of this tour, which simply means that this is a CSN concert rather than a CSNY concert. Due to cocaine, David Crosby looks like a zombie, with a vacant, glassy-eyed stare; Stephen Stills looks and sings like he's been through the wringer a few too many times. Nevertheless, due to the heroic efforts of Graham Nash, exhorting his mates to rise above their difficulties, this concert turns out to be pretty darn good. The supporting musicians are stellar, especially Michael Finnegan on organ. Stephen Stills does perform some great guitar licks, and Crosby does a solo on piano without mishap. This is a well-made representation of the CSN band doing its best in 1982: not as good as before or after, but always worth listening to.

If you like the boys, this one is pro-shot so you can't miss. Of course Neil has more talent them all of them combined..... Even though it is OOP, it is circulating among traders on VCD.... but its 2003 and Neil's Greendale DVD will be released soon! rock on!
