Going one further, Julie resolves to save him emotionally, too, by instilling the gift of hope. If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Absolutely the worst movie.
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
i watched TisT at the Annapolis film festival last year.this film is an excellent return to strong story and character development. it is clearly an example of less is more. i hope to get an early view at this writer/producer's next work. it's not every day that you to stumble across a film like this. i didn't know anything about this film going into the festival but know they are on my radar. it just blindsided me.it made me excited to be an actor. and i'm going to get my headshot/resume to their office.wash DC
My stepfather had me watch this movie. At first, i was a little skeptic. I judge movies by how the cover makes me feel, and i just didn't connect. But, i decided to give it a try. I sat down and watched the movie, and i can honestly say it made me feel different then any other movie i have seen. It was so real, and not one bit of it was superficial. I didn't feel like this was some made up Hollywood story. It was beautiful in a way that is unexplainable. I remember being into every second of the film. The on screen chemistry was amazing. Mark Hefti and Scout Taylor-Compton were perfect for the roles they each played. They took their characters and brought them to life on screen, and I, being a 15 year old, could feel the pain, and love, and loss, that these two put forth as amazing and talented actors. I not only loved this movie, but i was a huge fan of the acting as well. I look forward to seeing Scout in Rob Zombies upcoming remake of 'Halloween'
This is an unashamedly romantic, tear-jerking story in the tradition of Love Story. I think Hollywood has been so lost in CGI-epics and not wanting the audience to feel bad for a second (apart from horror - there anything goes) that they haven't produced enough films which let people have a good cry in recent years. From what I've heard this film was made for a relatively small budget though it boasts impressive production standards and beautiful locations. It could be enjoyed on DVD though the scope of the seaside backdrop suggests a big-screen viewing would be more effective. The acting is also very impressive. Hollywood take note, an indie on a much lower budget has outsmarted you once again!
This is a truly heartwarming movie that shows us all about overcoming and that we can face some things in life that seem hopeless. Grief, lossand healing are blended in such a way that compassion rules. I thought the acting was tremendous. The character Julie was extremely believable, and Greg was devastatingly real in his portrayal of his troubled life and times. I left feeling I'd just had a wonderful gift in being able to watch Tomorrow is Today. The dialog is beautifully written, and the actors, who are until now to me unknown talent, put their heart and soul into it. The scenery and settings were effective too, and the cinematography really good. Everyone involved in the movie should be very very proud, because it is a real winner. Thanks to all of them for creating it.
