Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

This movie wasn't as bad as people say it was. I've never heard of "Street Fighters" so I didn't really care that it was parodying it. I guess it's the sort of movie you wouldn't pay more than $5.00 for, but it would make the perfect party movie. The humour isn't smart, but it isn't so stupid that you cringe. It's actually pretty funny. Andy Lau was adorable, Jacky Cheung was cute, and just the whole atmosphere of the film let you relieve yourself of any seriousness. I mean, you could just see that those in the movie were acting with such an inane silliness, and so you can't help losing yourself in the zaniness of the film. Totally not Oscar-worthy in any sense, but nice fluff to get your mind off work and just have fun! Andy and Jacky are great and the cast has a floating charm, so go watch it with friends.

I can't help but laugh that these people that did a review all give it a good rating. With such big profile star (except for prefame Ekin Cheng), one would wonder how will it turn out. After recently viewing this movie i can agree with Kozo from LoveHKFilm that Calling this film bad would be an insult to actual bad movies. This movie was sooo awful that it was worth it to watch till the end. This movie full of stupid humour that leave you confuse and will make you laughing how stupid the movie is. The storyline was just crapacular, if you have watch the film, they say the FutureCop can't lie or else they will get shock. Well when they are in present time, there was soo much lying going on (when Andy Lau and Jacky CHeung went for the interview is just one of many example). The plot was very shallow (which they stole from Fight Back to School) and the joke are not funny. From the start to the ending this movie look very fake, boring, and extremely stupid. Com'on guys let the public know that this movie should not be view and should all be burn and forget about. Right now this is the second worse HK movie i had ever saw behind the New Option.

A great outing from Hong Kong's crazy director, Wong Jing. A roman-a-clef version of Street Fighter II, this film features some of Hong Kong's biggest stars (Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Simon Lam). Upon first viewing you may find that your brain is short circuiting due to the bizarreness, but once you finish, you have to go back for more. Every turn in this film leads to another sight gag, from Broom Man's hair, big lips, edible furniture, age reducing syringes, live action Super Mario Brothers, and Dragonball's Son Goku. Not really close to the story of Street Fighter II, most of the characters are here (all except Balrog and Zangief, and the 4 characters added later, although there are 2 Chun Lis in the end). All and all, a classic Hong Kong comedy, others may not think the same, but I can't imagine watching it without laughing insanely.

This Hong Kong version of the game "Street Fighter II" was way better than the Van Damme film of 1994. The characters actually emulate their signature moves in this action-comedy. I couldn't help but root for the heroes while laughing my head off. The only actor to look exactly like his character was Aaron Kwok as Ryu. The little music video with Jacky Cheung (Guile) is hysterical. If you see this film, get ready for a cameo from Dragon Ball Z's Goku!!!! It is awesome and if you're an anime fan, you gotta see it!!!!
