It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Match 1: Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara in a Tables Match for the no. 1 contender ship to the WWE Tag Team Championship - Very vocal crowd in Brooklyn, the vocal males in the crowd gave a loud pop for Rhodes and Sandow. Overall this wasn't bad and lived up to what it was meant to be, which was basically a brawl. Rhodes pushes Sin Cara off the ropes and he takes a pretty cool bump to the outside through a table. Rhodes Scholars get the win and become no. 1 contenders for the tag titles.Match 2: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. R-Truth for the United States Championship - Once again the crowd was very vocal, as the vocal males were firmly behind the former Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro). This was a little better than their Survivor Series match, but still fairly uninspiring. Cesaro gets the expected win here and retains the title. WWE seems to have a lot of faith in him as a possible top heel in the future, which is a good thing.Match 3: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship - The vocal crowd continues with some Let's Go Barrett chants throughout this one. Actually not a bad match from these two, I personally feel it could have went a little longer. There's something about Kingston that I'm not sold on yet. He's a fairly good wrestler, but his character needs some tweaking so he can really breakthrough to that next level. Kofi hits his Trouble in Paradise on Barrett to get the win in this one.Match 4: The Shield vs. Kane, Daniel Bryan & Ryback in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match - This could have definitely main evented the show. This was one of the better TLC matches I've seen in recent memory. Just a lot of really good stuff going on in this one with a really hot crowd behind it all. Just like Kingston, I'm not sold on Ryback. I'm not saying he is Goldberg, but the presentation and overall character are very similar, he needs something to set him apart from the comparisons and a Feed Me More chant isn't it. The big story out of this match was the debut of The Shield. Excellent work as expected from Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, hell Roman Reigns also looked very good in this one. They made a statement and became stars overnight in this match. Spectacular spot towards the end of the match by Rollins. A match that is definitely worth ordering the replay of this one. Shield is able to pick up the surprising win in their first outing.Match 5: Eve Torres (c) vs. Naomi for the Divas Championship - For being relegated to one of Brodus Clay's dancers, I wasn't expecting much out of Naomi. In the end though she actually surprised me. It wasn't the smoothest or greatest women's match I've ever seen, but Naomi showed real potential when put in the spotlight. Eve picks up the win and retains the title.Match 6: Big Show (c) vs. Sheamus in a Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - WWE has a real problem with repeating the SmackDown main event on multiple pay-per-views. We saw it with Sheamus vs. Del Rio, and now we're seeing it with Sheamus vs. Big Show. The Hell in a Cell match they had will still go down as the best from these two. They set the bar really high in their first outing that it will be hard to out do it. This was a fairly decent brawl though with a seemingly uninterested crowd that chanted for ROH's El Generico at certain points. Big Show grabs a "giant sized" chairs and hits Sheamus in the back with it to pick up the win and retain the title. Show being champion for this long is kind of nice to see for a change.Match 7: The Miz, Alberto Del Rio & The Brooklyn Brawler (yes you heard me right) vs. 3MB - The only match that really sucked on this pay-per-view. Thankfully it only went 3 minutes, but it still really didn't need to take place. I don't know who came up with the 3MB gimmick, but it just isn't clicking yet. Brawler makes Jinder Mahal submit to get the win.Match 8: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena in a Ladder Match for Ziggler's Money in the Bank Briefcase - I hate to agree with JBL since he's meant to have the heel perspective at the announce table, but this match didn't really need to happen. Wrestling is obviously scripted, but if you realistically look at it, why would Cena continue to receive multiple opportunities to become champion above everyone else on the roster who are more deserving and have had less chances than him. Regardless of all that though, they had a tough act to follow after the TLC match earlier in the night. This was still a pretty good main event though and Ziggler really shined. Brooklyn really rallied behind Ziggler. In the end AJ comes out, as expected, and gives us a swerve ending by turning on Cena and helping Ziggler win the match. Nice to see Ziggler pick up a win in the pay-per-view main event, but why is it that Cena can only lose by some sort of screw job, it's like the man refuses to job cleanly to any up and comers in WWE.Overall though this was a pretty good pay-per-view. All of the matches played out really well. This looked like WWE cared about one of their pay-per-views for the first time in months.
