Things get more complicated when he has to take care of his daughter as well, and does not have a proper place to live. After many attempts to solve his situation, and experiencing repeated deceptions, Shpëtim decides to migrate to Germany illegally in his search for a better life.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
