The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

One of the best series ever. Sad that they didn't come out with the 2nd season for it. It's an all round series with equal spreading of Suspense, Thrill, Excellent Plot line and Characters. The story really keeps you guessing till the end, never becoming predictable or boring. The concept of an all providing room was really unique for it's time but that aside, the way the writers have woven together a universe around it in so few an episodes is also commendable. Usually 6 episodes is too few to really get you hooked on, but that's definitely not the case with this one. Hope you like it as much as i did and pray for it's return with a second season.

This review has heavy spoilers for the whole story. Do not read if you haven't seen the whole show.I really liked the original concept behind this show. A room where "something happened" that created objects with different supernatural uses was great and for the most part I liked how the story was told, with the main character wanting to get his daughter back and the whole factions and groups that formed around the objects. But sadly it ended up being yet another example of writers that came up with a great idea but had no idea how to end it and how to give a logical answer to all the interesting mysteries they came up with. By the end most of it doesn't make sense anymore and the answer to most of the big mysteries ends up being "because the writers say so".One of the biggest mysteries of the whole show is what happened in the room, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who was intrigued with this and was expecting an answer. And when the times came for the big reveal the dialog went something like:"Did you create the objects? What happened in this room?" "No I didn't create them. It just happened".Turns out the writers had no idea how to finish their own story so they just went with "it just happened". And that's far from being the only question left unanswered, by the final chapter there are a ton of events that are never really explained. - Why would recreating the experiments of the collectors revive people? - What was the logic behind the daughter of the main character being trapped in "one of many rooms? - How did the main character recover his daughter by becoming an object? - ETCA part of me feels this show was left unfinished. A lot of the events from the final episode pointed towards a second seasons that never got released

When I first started watching The Lost Room I really didn't think I would like it, but after the first half an hour I was hooked and couldn't stop watching it. I think overall everything was really good but there were some things that I did not like about the miniseries. For the people they picked for the actors and actresses I think they did a good job. To me all the actors and actresses were really good and they all really played out their character. Especially Joe Miller (Peter Krause) when his daughter disappeared through Room 10 he was going to do anything and everything to get his little girl back. Also I really liked how they added a couple characters, Wally Jabrowski (Peter Jacobson) and Harold Stritzke (Ewen Bremner) in the show to give the audience a good laugh. All the characters in this show really brought out the miniseries though.I was happy with the story but there were some things that I did not like. I really liked where they went with it everything just fitted together. One thing that I really didn't like was the ending. They could have gone on so much longer with the miniseries, it was a cliffhanger. They could have gone and explained what all the objects do or find out what they did. That was one thing that I was disappointed about is that we don't know what all the objects do. Only the choice few that was important to get Joe Miller's daughter back. Also at the end when Joe finally did get his daughter out of Room 10 they could have went and had Anna Miller (Elle Fanning) explain where she actually went and all the things she seen. Also whatever happened to Dr. Ruber (Dennis Christopher) no one knows. Did he continue searching for the objects with The Order or did he just stop? Another thing that really got me was at the end when Joe put the Hotel Room 10 Key in the room, shut the door, and then opened it again it was gone, but right before the series ended it showed the room key still laying on the floor.Overall though I really loved this miniseries, everything was amazing it all fit together and it just wasn't thrown together it was really planned out. I would really love to see this show come back and continue with a series.

There are a bunch of objects that belong in the motel room. Each of them give you a power. There are different groups of people that have different beliefs about the room, whether they are the remains of God or just to be used by God. The reasoning behind these objects are unclear, and they don't go really too deep into the whole God thing. But the thing that brings all these Motel room together is key.And everything works under a certain line of rules. The mystery and the epic evolves around these objects. It's impressive that they made a mini-series that just involve simple objects and made them so interesting. The story centers around a single man who lost his daughter in the room. Like us he is discovering the history behind the objects like we are.Overall, this is a great epic that is intriguing and well written. I strongly suggest this show for those who love adventures and discovery.
