The Curious Case of Tianjin
During the Republic of China, the Jinmen Wharf revived, the Caoyun and Qinglong Gang fought for business. Qin Fan, the descendant of Bian Que magic needle, went to be a peacemaker, but accidentally killed two gang brothers. Qin Fan, who does not remember how he escaped from the prison, decided to personally find out the real cause of death of the corpse thief and his two gang brothers to prove his innocence. It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
