When young Simon Robertson moves with his family to a new town, he thinks the biggest peril will be the local bullies. How sad is this?
I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
