While vacationing on an exotic island Detective Cassady Cruz begins a torrid affair with charming expat, Travis King, but when his ex-girlfriend, Minnie, winds up dead he is accused of her murder. A Masterpiece!
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
