Dr. Lauren Wagner is the chief medical officer on the first American mission to Mars. The expedition is a dream come true for her, the fruit of many years of struggle and sacrifice. While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
