Best movie of this year hands down!
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
This movie is "awesome!" Don't be fooled by the title, it seems boring at first, but when you've done watching the movie, it's worth it! The movie is all about an ordinary girl who gets to meet the prince charming of her life or what they call it, 'dreamboy'. She meets this three different boy of her dreams and in the end she has to pick one of course.Anyway, I don't want to spoil the movie for you guys out there. Here's just an advice I think you should bring with you: Be sure to watch everything closely, you don't know what you might miss!:) Enjoy! And I hope you get to see the boy of your dreams someday:)
This is the Philippine's answer to movies of the Truman Show/Ed TV genre, but, much like "Truman" it keeps people guessing as to what exactly is going on with the world the characters are in.I find it rather admirable that the first part of the movie plays so much like a standard teen drama, with all the elements (rich boy, poor girl, rich boy signing off something - his fortune perhaps?, impressive dates with lavish backgrounds, those corny 'dance sequences' that are a staple of most fantasy/romance Filipino films) then unravels into something that makes you sit up and go "What the ___?" Also kudos to one of the young actors for agreeing to deglamorize himself in the cameo at the end.On an end note: If you really want to see the lead actor at his best, watch him in "Lagarista".
