Thanks for the memories!
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Again watched movie and a super amazing actor, Nana Patekar sir hats off !! Must watch Thanks Mahesh sir and Nana sir it's just amazing
IMO this is one of the best films ever produced by Marathi Regional films. There are no words to convey the greatness of this movie. The acting by Nana Patekar, Medha Manjrekar , Vikram Gokhale and others was superb, heart wrenching and so real. The monologues were poetic and unforgettable. Kudos to the writers and the director. This is a film that should be watched by all.
I haven't watched a Marathi movie in years since they're mostly formulaic like any Indian movie. The last one I saw was possibly Samaantar. Given the lead actors and heavy drama, this one is possibly more of a chick flick.Natsamrat has a bit less emotion than Samaantar, and is delivered from the perspective of a once-famous actor. If you buy into the plot you'll find it moving; if you don't deify famous actors this movie might fall short of perfect - but just a bit. Disguised in the premise of an iconoclastic actor the perpetuation of Indian family relationship stereotypes persists. The undertones of King Lear and Shakespeare are interesting; subtitles could use some editing.
Ocsar deserves this movie yeah right Oscar deserves this movie... The acting writing dialogues everything are up to mark... It was my first review here and I really want people around the world to see this epic movie. Not only nana patekar but all the actors played their part at 10 on 10 level. I made me cry it is not because I am very sentimental but this movie has something in it... 1. Acting 2.story 3. Direction 4.actors 5.screenplay 6.Dialogues Everything they were excellent over 2.45 hours. This movie can beat all other movie of Bollywood. Small budget but still how they managed to deliver such a great cinema. Marathi movies really started paving their work...
