Sergei and Valentin are permanent residents of Okunevo. Sergei has a mental retardation. Valentin lost the ability to walk.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
