There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This film, for the most part, is a prime example of how a movie should not turn out. Amft and Grill even more are prime examples of actors with little range and talent. The writing is shoddy and the film neither succeeds on a dramatic nor on a comedic level. Can't say much about the direction as, with all the other negative factors, it's virtually impossible to turn this into a quality movie. However, Sophie Allet-Coche (experienced television director) gets her fair share as well as she directed Amft and Grill already in previous projects and probably was at least partially responsible for casting these two. The supporting cast is slightly better. Michael Kessler in a serious role is a rare thing. Milena Dreißig from "Stromberg" is solid and probably would have been a much better choice for the female lead. The story is about a museum employee who gets involved with a dangerous police investigation after being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's just never credible and the action is so random. The protagonist's friend, all of a sudden is about to marry the prime suspect's son. Amft's character keeps falling into sarcophagi. And as if that is not already enough, there are some indicators also that Amft's and Grill's characters are going to end up as a couple. Especially Grill's random rambling about love is so cringeworthy in one scene. The film's title is pretty horrible too. It's difficult to decide if it is worse than the working title "A sarcophagus for two". Both really suck. As does pretty much everything else about this movie. Hannes Hellmann did a decent job though. The movie also really ends on a low note looking at how a book saves Grill's life and especially with the way how Amft's character knocks down the antagonist in the end. Pretty ridiculous. Television entertainment of the lowest level.
