Lotta Backlund

International Television Production Finland. She has also been a Finnish stand-up comedian, television journalist and politician. Backlund has served on the board of the Finnish Student Union, among other things, and was a Coalition Party candidate in the 2007 parliamentary elections. Backlund was Finland's UN youth delegate in 2006. In the spring of 2007, Backlund appeared in the short-lived "Kuka, mitä, häh?" as a standard programmer. She was the presenter of the morning program on the NRJ radio channel from March 2006 to November 2007. Backlund has also hosted a humorous B-studio current affairs program on Nelonen together with Steen1. Since 2012, Backlund has worked as a development manager and producer for the television production company Eyeworks Finland, which was later acquired by Warner Bros. International Television Productions. Backlund publishes a weekly Backlund & Lange podcast with Miina Lange. In 2017–2018, Backlund served as Special Political Adviser to the Mayor of Helsinki, Jan Vapaavuori. Since May 2021, Backlund has been the communications manager of the gaming company Rovio.
