'Charlie's Letters' screened at the Edinburgh and Brighton Festivals, where it received critical acclaim and was lauded by critics as a "miracle", with Culture Trip's Graham Fuller citing Hasler as "the next Spielberg". Hasler followed the success of his debut feature with a series of short films. Among which was, 'To Hunt a Tiger', starring John Locke (Darkest Hour, The Favourite) and shot in Sri Lanka, following in the footsteps of Sir David Lean's 'The Bridge on the River Kwai', it also features an original score by Emmy Award Winning composer, Daniel Clive McCallum and premiered at the Maldives no.1 rated resort, Soneva Jani. Hasler is currently shooting his second feature, 'Vindication Swim', about the first English woman to swim the Channel.
