True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
This is a power rangers movie and where are they?Last 20 minutes only l get to see them and l am really disappointed.
I don't really understand what people expected but I thought they updated this movie fantastically. No it's not the 90's cheesy Sabian version but it wasn't meant to be; it's more like the Breakfast Club meets a sense of humor but implements humor that makes sense. As for the people who are complaining that it's not the 90s or the humor is too grown up, they are just being to critical and flat out picky; honestly, if it even resembled the 90s stuff I wouldn't have even given it a chance.I say watch it, it won't disappoint but if it does well it's you because it is a "Power Rangers" movie so how high was your bar really set in the first place?? Though they have a very powerful message of friendship and looking out for one another and not be so internal, self-absorbed teenager.I hope they make a second; I really do, probably not but still hope the do!
I went to see this movie on my 16th birthday, and, unfortunately, movie going isn't exactly an easy thing to obtain where I am from. My brother, who doesn't like movies, went with me only because this was Power Rangers, a franchise we both love. I get it, the Krispy Kreme thing is ridiculous, but both of kept laughing the entire way through. We both loved this movie, definitely my favorite movie of the year behind Spider-man Homecoming. It deserves something like a 7 or so.
I thought it was a fun reboot. Clever and well done. Not sure why it gets so much hate.
